Tracking afternoon thunderstorms before a drier rest of the week
THIS MORNING: Cloudy ahead of rain arriving in western Mid-MO by midmorning. Showers track slowly into central MO into the afternoon.
TODAY: Mostly cloudy with rain exiting east this evening. Highs in the mid-50s.
EXTENDED: Clouds linger through Thursday but sunshine returns by the afternoon. The end of the week is nice with highs near 60 on Thursday and Friday, and slightly warmer with more clouds over the weekend. A more active pattern sets up for next week with rain possible on Monday and Tuesday while highs drop to the 40s by late next week.
