Hartsburg man injured after hitting a cow in Callaway County on Sunday

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Hartsburg, Missouri man was seriously injured in a crash in Callaway County Sunday morning.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Caleb Ellingsworth, 26 of Hartsburg was riding a motorcycle on Route CC, North of CO Rd 449 at 6 a.m.

The crash occurred when Ellingsworth hit a cow that was in the road, the report states.

He was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.
