Yseult hits Olympic stage as closing ceremony performer, shining light on music and modeling career

PARIS (AP) — Parisian singer-model Yseult was the final act to perform during the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics on Sunday. In an interview with The Associated Press before the show, Yseult said her goal was to represent her country on the global stage, showcase her upcoming music including her viral song “Alibi.” She talked about her flourishing modeling career. She has performed and walked major runways for Balmain, Mugler, McQueen, Balenciaga, and is the global ambassador for L’Oreal. She has never been timid about sharing her opinion, and the Black plus-size model says as a result, she has had to deal with racism and online bullying.
