No injuries reported after fire at Orr Street Studios in downtown Columbia Sunday morning

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Fire Department responded to a fire at Orr Street Studios in downtown Columbia early Sunday morning.

According to a press release from the department, crews were dispatched to a large outside fire at 106 Orr Street at 2:09 a.m. Firefighters found a small fire next to the building, but the call was upgraded to a first alarm, the release states.

Crews on scene found the fire extended into the building, as well as smoke inside the structure.

Nine Columbia fire units made up of 18 personnel responded to the fire. Crews were able to put the fire out within five minutes, according to the release.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
