Illinois man seriously injured in crash in Phelps County Saturday afternoon

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Illinois man was seriously injured in motorcycle crash in Phelps County around 1:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

According to an online crash report, Michael Weber, 52, of Collinsville, Illinois was driving westbound on Highway 68, half a mile east of County Road 4380.

Weber went around a curve too fast, causing him to cross the center of the road and overturn. He was then ejected from the motorcycle.

Weber sustained serious injuries, and was flown to a local hospital.
