The parade is expected to cause some closures for the duration of the parade according to organizers. The parade is set to begin at the Boone County Courthouse, travel down Ninth Street, and end at the Missouri Theatre.

The area will be closed off while the parade is going on.

Organizers also say they will close down Ninth Street between Locust and Elm streets for the course of the True/False event.

Friday's parade is just one of many activities that True/ False is offering for the duration of the event.

People will also have the opportunity to watch 33 new feature films and 25 new short films along with art events and music. Filmmakers will also answer questions and hold panel discussions following the screening of their film.

A full schedule for all activities can be found on the True/False Website.

If you still need information on purchasing tickets or passes for the event, you can stop at the box office located inside the Sager Reeves Gallery at 9 a.m.
