Troopers looking for driver after crash on Route B in Boone County

Troopers are looking for the driver of a Jeep after a crash in Boone County on Wednesday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 5:20 p.m. on Route B near Oakland Church Road.

Troopers said the Jeep and an SUV driven by Phyliss J. Caudle, 73, of Hallsville, hit another SUV that stopped due to traffic.

According to the crash report, the driver of the SUV, Ryan J. Zwer, 44, and a passenger, Kristen D. Zwer, 38, both of Ottumwa, Iowa, received minor injuries. Emergency crews took Caudle by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia with minor injuries.

A spokesman for MU Health Care said all three were treated and released from the hospital.

Troopers said the Jeep driven by a man left the scene of the crash. According to the highway patrol, the vehicle is white with a spare tire on the back.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the highway patrol or local law enforcement.
