COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Friday, the MU Tigers will be up against the Arkansas Razorbacks which means drivers could face traffic delays with more people headed to town.

MU fans should keep in mind that the earlier you get to the game the better chance you'll have at finding a free parking spot.

According to Columbia Public Transit, free parking spots are located on Turner Avenue, Conley Avenue, Hitt Street, University, Virginia Street garages, Armory Sports parking lot, and Ninth and Ash street parking lots.

For gamegoers who miss out on a free parking spot, general public parking is along Hospital Drive and will cost $35. Parking will also be available at Truman's Landing for $200 and ADA options are available along Champion Drive for $30.

For fans interested in using a shuttle for transportation today, Columbia Public Transit or Go-Como will offer free shuttle rides. Downtown routes are scheduled to begin at noon and will run on a 10-minute cycle with the last departure happening at 2:15 Friday afternoon according to Columbia Public Transit.

Boarding for return trips back to the downtown area will begin at the end of the third quarter at the corner of Tiger Avenue and Hospital Drive.

The last shuttle will depart 30 minutes after the end of the game.

Shuttle services will also be provided to and from Columbia area hotels.
