PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A two-vehicle crash in Pulaski County early Friday morning left a Lake Ozark woman with serious injuries.

The crash happened on Route A near Carol Court around 1:25 a.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said an SUV driven by 44-year-old Daron E. Brashear, of Fort Leonard Wood, pulled in front of a motorcycle on Route A. Stevie R. Sorensen, 36, was thrown from the motorcycle after the vehicle traveled off the road following the crash.

Emergency crews took Sorensen by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment of her injuries. A spokeswoman for the hospital said Sorensen was treated and released.

There were no other injuries reported.

Troopers said Sorensen was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
