CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Camden County Commission to perform an audit for the Horseshoe Bend Special Road District during a Monday meeting.

The road district requested the audit in order to assess all internal controls and disbursements by the Camden County Collector’s office during the 2019-2021 tax years, according to a press release.

The district sought the audit because it previously asked for public records from the Camden County Collector after it claimed there was inconsistent tax allocations, but never received that information.
