Man injured in early morning shooting in Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man was shot early this morning in Columbia. Police are saying he is stable.

The man was shot in the 1800 block of Holly Avenue. Columbia police responded to the shooting at 3:15 this morning.

While investigating the shooting, police found a man who was hurt in the shooting.

There is no information about a suspect at this time.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 573-874-7652, or contact Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous at 573.875.TIPS (8477).
