MoDOT seeks feedback about possible Interstate 70 improvements in Boone County
BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
MoDOT is asking for the public's feedback about possible improvements to a part of Interstate 70 in Boone County.
The department has identified an 18-mile portion of the interstate between near Route BB to just east of Route Z for improvements. That includes possible changes to the I-70 and Highway 63 connector in Columbia.
In a press release, MoDOT said the review is needed to "identify changes to existing conditions, possible solutions, potential impacts, and related mitigation measures."
Anyone can share their comments about the work on MoDOT's website through the end of this month.
MoDOT is also scheduled to hold a public meeting about the potential improvements Thursday, July 21. The department plans to meet with community members at the ARC in Columbia from 4 to 6 p.m.
We are asking for your input! Motorists and nearby residents are being asked to provide feedback on a study of I-70 in Boone County.
