Police investigate shots fired overnight in northeast Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police officers investigated shots fired overnight in northeast Columbia.

Officers were called out to the 4600 block of Orchard Lane around 2:30 a.m., according to the Columbia Police Department. Police said no one was hurt.

Officers at the scene told ABC 17 News that property damage was found. More specific details about the investigation weren't immediately available.

Police also responded to a second shooting around 3 a.m. about six miles away on Doris Drive. Police said one person suffered minor injuries in that shooting.

Anyone with information about either investigation is asked to call the Columbia Police Department.
