Mizzou hoops falls at South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team lost to South Carolina 73-69 on Tuesday night. It's MU's sixth straight loss.

The Tigers cut the Gamecock lead to 60-59 with 1:34 to go in the game, but MU could not complete the comeback. South Carolina led for nearly 35 minutes, including the entire second half.

Javon Pickett led the Tigers with a career-high 23 points. Kobe Brown had 19 points and eight rebounds.

Mizzou is now 10-20 overall and 4-13 in the SEC. Up next - the Tigers will host Georgia on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the regular season finale.
