Capital Region offers emergency prescriptions for one day
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Capital Region Medical Center said Tuesday that it is offering emergency refills of some medications for one day only amid a continuing network outage.
The MU Health Care-affiliated hospital posted a message Tuesday on its Facebook page saying patients who are out of medication can get seven-day refills at its Capital Care pharmacies in Jefferson City and Versailles. Patients must bring their prescription bottles with them, Capital Region says.
Capital Region's phone and email systems have been down since Friday after staff pulled the plug because of suspicious activity.
