The project will remove and replace the Missouri River bridge at Rocheport and the Route BB overpass. The new bridge will have three lanes on each bridge for traffic.

Once the westbound bridge is complete, traffic will then be moved to the bridge to begin construction for the eastbound bridge. The westbound bridge is expected to be completed in late spring 2023 and the eastbound bridge will be complete by winter 2024.

Construction on Route BB will begin in spring 2024. Officials say there will be no ramp changes during the construction of the overpass.

The presentation included renderings of what the bridges will look like, construction timelines, details on the replacement of the Route BB interchanges, and where motorists and residents will first see work on the project.
