MGN

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Montgomery County prosecutor has charged a St. Peters man after a road rage incident on Interstate 70 that happened in June.

According to court documents, Cody Teter was allegedly driving a black Dodge dart when he attempted to force the victim off the road and pointed a handgun at the victim.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper responded and pulled over Teter a few miles from the incident on I-70.

After being pulled over, Teter initially denied involvement in the incident to the trooper, according to court documents.

While the trooper was confirming warrants, Teter told the trooper he did not point a gun at the victims but did admit to having a gun in his possession and marijuana inside the vehicle, according to reports.

Teter is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.
