Mizzou soccer beats Notre Dame in overtime

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou soccer team beat Notre Dame 3-2 in overtime on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers were up 2-0 at halftime, but the Fighting Irish answered with two goals of their own in the second half.

MU's Milena Fischer scored the game-winner for the Tigers in overtime. It was the freshman's second goal of the game. It was also her second goal of her Mizzou career.

The Tigers are now 3-2 on the season under first year head coach Stefanie Golan. Up next - Mizzou will play at Northern Colorado on Thursday at 8 p.m.
