Missouri Task Force One returns to Columbia — Missouri State Emergency Management Agency

COLUMBIA, MO. (KMIZ)
Missouri Task Force 1 arrived back home safely at Boone County Fire Protection District Headquarters in Columbia Saturday after deploying to Louisiana to assist with Hurricane Ida response efforts.

MO-TF1 was in Louisiana for one week to help with the aftermath of the storm and got orders to return. They left Louisiana Friday afternoon and got back to Columbia Saturday around noon.

MO-TF1 is one of just 28 federal Urban Search & Rescue Teams in the U.S.
