Ragtag Cinema to require proof of vaccination or negative test

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Monday, Ragtag Cinema announced starting Sept. 10, it will be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result in order to come to the cinema.

The company cited high transmission of COVID-19 in the community for the changes in the policy.

Fully vaccinated individuals will be required to provide proof of vaccination by bringing either the original, a printed copy of vaccination card, or a clear photo copy.

Unvaccinated or even partially vaccinated people will be required to take a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of coming to the cinema and need to provide a printed proof of negative result before entering the venue. At home tests will be allowed as long as you can print the results on a medical platform.

Digital copies of tests will not be accepted.

The company states, in addition to proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID test, masks are required at the box office and in the theaters, unless you are eating or drinking.

During outdoor events put on by Ragtag, the same requirements will be in place, however masks are optional. For other indoor events all rules will remain the same.
