One man shot in Columbia Saturday night

Columbia Police investigate shots fired incident along Dove Drive on July 24, 2021 — KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One man was shot in the 3300 block of Dove Drive in Columbia on Saturday night according to the Columbia Police Department.

CPD initially responded to a shots fired call along Dove Drive around 8 p.m. on Saturday night. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man with a serious gunshot wound and called for medical assistance.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment according to the press release.

The department does not have a suspect description at this time and says this is an on-going investigation.
