QUESTION OF THE DAY: Have you received your child tax credit payment?

The American Rescue Plan stimulus package included an expanded child tax credit with monthly payments for parents.

The IRS began to deposit the checks of up to $300 per child on Thursday. Taxpayers can opt out and instead take the expanded credit as a lump sum at tax time. And those who have not filed taxes recently or received stimulus checks will have to sign up for the payments.
