Crews work to repair damages left by latest round of storms
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Nelson's Tree Service in Columbia has been working night and day to clean up debris left by trees in both homes and on roads after severe storms hit Mid-Missouri Friday.
Darrel Nelson, Owner of Nelson's Tree Service, said his crew have been working long hours this past week in order to keep up with all of the calls they've gotten.
Nelson said because of the influx in calls, his team has to prioritize service calls, handling trees into homes first before then working to clean up any debris left in roads.
The owner, had just finished removing a tree off a mobile home on Clark Lane.
The clean up took about four hours, with the crew working quickly to tarp the home before the next round of storms moves in.
Scattered storms are once again expected to roll through Mid-Missouri Saturday night into Sunday morning and Nelson said his team is ready.
