Linn baseball advances to first ever state championship game

OZARK, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Linn baseball team has punched its ticket to the state championship game for the first time in school history. The Wildcats beat Elsberry 10-0 in the Class 3 state semifinals on Wednesday.

Linn will now face St. Pius X on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Class 3 state championship game.

Andy Hueste pitched a complete game shutout for Linn. He finished with seven strikeouts.

This is Linn's third ever trip to the Final Four.
