Blair Oaks looks to defend state championship on Thursday

The Blair Oaks baseball team beat Hollister 3-2 on Wednesday to advance to the Class 4 state championship.

The Falcons scored three runs on just two hits. They scored all three of their runs in the second inning.

Wil Libbert had 10 strikeouts in 5.2 innings. He didn't allow a single run.

Hollister scored two runs in the bottom of the 7th inning, but Blair Oaks was able to hang on for the victory.

The Falcons will look to defend their state title against Kennett in the championship on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
