MONDAY UPDATES: Over 87,0000 Boone County residents have received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine

Boone County will update the dashboard Tuesday however the state of Missouri has udpated their vaccine dashboard with the latest numbers.

The dashboard is reporting that 87,042 residents have received their first dose in Boone County and 74,295 Boone County residents have completed their vaccine doses.

Boone County has the largest percentage of people in Mid-Missouri that have received at least one dose of the vaccine with 48.2%. The second closest in the state is St. Louis County with 45.7%.

Boone County is first in the state with a reported 41%.2 of residents that have completed their coronavirus vaccine doses. St. Charles County is second in the state with 37.7% of residents have completed the doses for vaccination.

Cole County has the second-highest first vaccination rate in Mid-Missouri with 38.5%. Montgomery County is in third with 34.4%.

More than 100 new COVID-19 cases reported in Missouri

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 108 new cases of COVID-19 Monday, bringing the total up to 511,552 throughout the pandemic.

No new COVID-19 related deaths were reported on Monday, keeping the total at 9,080 for Missouri.

According to the state's COVID-19 dashboard 46 new probable cases of the virus were found through antigen testing, bringing the total to 87,984.

The state's positivity rate remained at 4.3% Monday.

According to the state's vaccine dashboard, 41.7% of the population have initiated vaccination in Missouri, and 34.6% have completed vaccination.

The most recent data shows an 8,853 drop in vaccinations between Saturday and Sunday.

In total, 4,533,144 doses of the vaccine have been given out in Missouri.
