Rock Bridge running back signs with Mizzou football
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Rock Bridge running back Bryce Jackson officially signed to play football for Mizzou on Wednesday night. He'll be a preferred walk-on for the Tigers.
Jackson said it's always been his dream to play for his home town school. That's part of the reason he chose to walk-on with the Tigers.
"I'm ready to grind, and I'm going there with the intent of getting a scholarship," Jackson said. "Going in as a preferred walk-on - you might be a little nervous. You might be a little scared, but I thought that's exactly what I should do. If I'm scared of it, that's exactly what I should do. I should push myself, and I'm ready."
Jackson chose MU over several other schools - including Georgetown, Northwest Missouri State and Central Missouri.
