Britt Reid crash case now being reviewed by Jackson County prosecutor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMBC)

According to KMBC, the Jackson County prosecutor's office is now reviewing the case involving former Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid and a Feb. 5 crash that caused brain injuries to a 5-year-old girl.

The girl's injuries have left her unable to speak or walk. She remains in a Kansas City hospital receiving treatment for those injuries.

Britt Reid is the son of Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. He was also the Chiefs' outside linebackers coach at the time of the crash.

Britt Reid contract was not renewed by the team.
