Mizzou tight end arrested for failing to appear in court

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou tight end Daniel Parker Jr. was arrested on Wednesday for failing to appear in court.

According to online court records, CPD initially cited him on Oct. 16 of last year on suspicion of going 20-25 miles per hour over the speed limit.

Parker Jr. did not show up to his court date in January, per online records. CPD said it served a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday. The Blue Springs native was released on bond - which was $232.

Parker Jr. is a rising senior on the football team.
