Mizzou hoops now up to six players in transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou basketball team lost another player to the transfer portal on Wednesday afternoon. Drew Buggs is the latest to leave the team.

Buggs is now the sixth MU player to enter the transfer portal this offseason. He's joined by Torrence Watson, Xavier Pinson, Mark Smith, Parker Braun and Ed Chang.

Buggs transferred to Mizzou after spending four years at Hawaii. He's the Rainbow Warriors all-time leader in assists. However - Buggs struggled to see the floor in his one year with the Tigers. He averaged 1.8 points and 1.9 assists per game this past season.
