Mizzou loses another player to the transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mark Smith is the latest Mizzou basketball player to enter the transfer portal. An MU spokesperson confirmed the news on Saturday afternoon.

Smith averaged 9.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game as a senior this past season. Due to the NCAA's COVID-19 eligibility waiver - Smith can return for an extra year if he chooses. If Smith does come back - it will not be with the Tigers.

Smith is the third MU player this week to enter the transfer portal. He joins Xavier Pinson and Parker Braun as the latest to leave the Tigers program.
