Grand jury indicts Columbia teen after fatal July 2020 shooting

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A grand jury indicted a Columbia teen accused of a fatal shooting that left two people dead and three shooting survivors.

Iseah Jackson was charged last month with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting last July off Volunteer Drive and North Grace Lane.

The two victims were an 11-year-old and a 38-year-old.

A witness of the shooting told police that Jackson and others came over after an errant firework went over into another yard according to court documents.

Jackson is accused of displaying a gun in a threatening manner leading up to the deadly shooting but the charges do not claim he actually shot the victims.
