COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person suffered minor injuries after a fire in Columbia Friday night.

The fire happened in the 2900 block of Rollins Street.

Officials said it was a kitchen fire that got out of control, however crews were able to contain the blaze to the kitchen.

Officials are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
