Tracking leftover rain chances

TODAY: Rain chances are still around, but will likely be in the area for a shorter period of time than we had originally expected. That being said, we will still see cloudy skies throughout the day with windy conditions. Highs will fall near 40 degrees.

TONIGHT: As the leftover rain pushes out of the area, cloud cover will begin to clear out as well. Winds will continue to hold strong as lows fall into the upper 20s.

EXTENDED: Mother Nature seems to be apologizing for the brutal cold we saw last week by giving us above average temperatures for most of this upcoming week. Sunshine will be around almost everyday, and by Tuesday, we'll be in the mid-50s. A cold front will move through in the middle of the week causing temperatures to drop slightly back into the mid-40s. Our rain chances are getting slimmer and slimmer as every day passes by, and it appears that our best shot for more rain will be next weekend.
