State health, education leaders to take part in ABC 17 News Q&A

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The heads of Missouri's health and education departments will be part of a panel of experts taking part in a question-and-answer session Thursday on ABC 17 News at 6:30 p.m.

Dr. Randall Williams, director of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, and Margie Vandeven, director of the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, will be joined by a representative of Capital Region Medical Center.

U.S. Rep. Vicky Hartzler, R-Harrisonville, will be part of the broadcast via a pre-recorded interview.

Questions will include how soon teachers should be vaccinated and the state of coordination between levels of government in distributing doses.

The program will air at 6:30 p.m. Thursday on ABC 17. Viewers can watch online at this link.
