No. 20 Mizzou loses third straight game

ATHENS, Georgia (KMIZ)

The No. 20 Mizzou basketball team lost its third straight game on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs beat the Tigers 80-70.

You can hear from head coach Cuonzo Martin in the video player above.

Mizzou was up 48-35 with 15:36 to go in the game after starting the second half on an 11-2 run. It went all down hill from there. Georgia ended up outscoring MU 45-22 the rest of the way.

MU played without Jeremiah Tilmon for the second straight game following a death in his family. After the game, head coach Cuonzo Martin said he expects the senior to be back soon.

Kobe Brown did his best to step up in Tilmon's absence. He led the Tigers with a career-high 21 points on 8/15 shooting, but it was not enough.
