COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Crashes blocked the eastbound lanes of the Missouri River bridge on Interstate 70 on Tuesday morning.

A Missouri Department of Transportation traffic camera showed vehicles at a standstill in the eastbound lanes at about 10 a.m. Emergency officials said two crashes occurred on the bridge.

The bridge reopened about 30 minutes later.

Details about how the crashes happened were not immediately available. A Boone County Fire Protection District spokesman said no injuries were reported.
