SUNDAY UPDATES: State reports 489 new COVID-19 cases

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

ORIGINAL: The Department of Health and Senior Service reports there have been 471,241 cases of COVID-19 across Missouri. The department reported 489 new cases Sunday.

Missouri ranked 27th in the nation for new cases reported in the past week.

DHSS also reported two more Coronavirus-related deaths on Sunday. The death toll has risen to 7,455.

There 1,438 people hospitalized with the virus on Sunday.
