No. 10 Mizzou struggles on the road against Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss. (KMIZ)

The No. 10 Mizzou basketball team came up short on the road against Ole Miss on Wednesday night. The Tigers lost 80-59.

Mizzou fell apart in the second half after only trailing 42-37 at halftime. The Rebels outscored the Tigers 38-22 in the final 20 minutes.

Mizzou played out of character in several statistical categories. Ole Miss out-rebounded the Tigers 34-19. MU also shot 5/15 from the free throw line.

Dru Smith was a lone bright spot for the Tigers. He finished with a team-high 17 points.

The Tigers are now 13-4 overall and 6-4 in the SEC. Up next - MU will host Arkansas on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the annual Rally For Rhyan game.
