Auburn’s freshman star too much for No. 12 Mizzou

AUBURN, Alab.

The No. 12 Mizzou basketball game gave up more than 80 points for the first time this season as the Tigers lost to Auburn 88-82 on Tuesday night.

Auburn freshman Sharife Cooper finished with a game-high 28 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Dru Smith led the Tigers with 21 points. Jeremiah Tilmon also had 21 points and ten rebounds.

Mizzou is now 10-3 overall and 4-3 in the SEC. Up next - The Tigers will host TCU on Saturday at 1 p.m.
