SATURDAY UPDATES: State adds over 2,700 new cases and 51 new deaths

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 2,784 new cases and 51 new deaths to it's COVID-19 dashboard Saturday morning.

Overall, 363,114 people have tested positive to date and 4,904 Missourians have died.

The United States reported a record high 249,709 new cases Friday, just shy of a quarter-million, according to updated data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.

2,814 deaths were also reported Friday, according to Johns Hopkins University.
