Mizzou football holds on to win second straight Mayor’s Cup

COLUMBIA, S.C. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team won its second straight Mayor's Cup over South Carolina on Saturday night. The Tigers held on to beat the Gamecocks, 17-10.

Mizzou played without defensive coordinator Ryan Walters and 11 players due to COVID-19 concerns. You can read more about the pregame news here.

Mizzou running back Larry Rountree had 58 yards rushing on 21 carries - including a first half touchdown. He is now the second all-time leading rusher in MU history behind only Brad Smith.
