Mizzou to host Braggin’ Rights game after coin flip goes MU’s way

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou basketball team will host Illinois on Saturday, Dec. 12 thanks to a favorable coin flip on Thursday night.

Due to COVID-19 concerns - the game cannot be played at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.

To maintain some neutrality, the teams said there will be no fans in attendance at Mizzou Arena.

The 2020 edition of the Braggin' Rights game will be the first time the annual rivalry will not be held in St. Louis since 1979. Illinois and Mizzou have met 50 times in program history.
