Man arrested Wednesday for alleged child molestation over the summer

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A probable cause statement from Boone County reveals a child was molested allegedly during a time from July 5 and August 1.

According to court documents, the investigation began on Wednesday after someone brought forth the allegations against Everett Roberson.

During the investigation, a call was made to Roberson and police listened gathering evidence according to court records.

Roberson is charged with Child Molestation-2nd Deg-Aggravated Sexual Offense-Child Less Than 17 Yoa And Offender Greater Than 4 Years Older according to Missoui Case Net.

Roberson's bond is set at $100,000 cash only. Roberson is still in the Boone County jail as of this publishing.

Roberson's next court date is set for Wednesday Oct. 21.
