Former Mizzou football coach holds charity golf tournament

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Mizzou football coach Gary Pinkel held the second annual GP M.A.D.E. Foundation golf tournament on Monday.

There were 206 participants, including several former MU football players. The tournament was once again held at The Club at Old Hawthorne.

Pinkel held the event in order to raise money for his GP M.A.D.E Foundation. The organization's mission is to help kids across Missouri.

"It's been really awesome to see people's trust in the GP M.A.D.E Foundation and trust that we're going to do the right things with the money that we get to help kids." Pinkel said. "That's what this whole thing is about."
