Driver flees the scene after crashing into building

BOONE COUNTY Mo. (KMIZ)

Authorities are investigating after someone crashed a car into a building in Boone County, Saturday morning.

The crash took place around 12:30 a.m. on the 800 block of Demaret Drive in Boone County.

The driver of the blue sedan fled the scene after the crash, according to Boone County Fire officials.

Officials said nobody lives in the corner unit where the car crashed and nobody was reported injured.

Authorities are now looking for the driver of that vehicle.
