Driver safe after crashing car into house in Columbia

COLUMBIA Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Fire Department responded to a car that crashed into a house near the 5300 Block of Currituck Lane on Saturday morning.

According to a tweet from CFD, the driver was not injured in the crash.

Authorities were on scene around 10:40 a.m. working to get the vehicle out of the house and stabilize the structure.

We are still working to find out the cause of the crash and if anyone was injured inside the house.
