SATURDAY UPDATES: Missouri records more than 800 COVID-19 related deaths

New COVID-19 cases in Missouri dipped just below 200 Saturday.

The total number of cases statewide increased to 14,442 on Saturday, an increase of 189. The number was below Friday's increase of 196.

Ten new deaths were reported Saturday, bringing the total to 809.

State and local officials have repeatedly said they expect the number of cases to increase as testing increases.

On Saturday, 657 people are hospitalized.

Boone County reported three additional cases on Saturday. Right now, the county has 43 active cases.
