Improvement project on I-70 outer roads set for next week
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A road project aimed at improving safety is set to start next week in Columbia.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the work will be happening along Interstate 70 outer roads.
On Monday, crews will be paving I-70 Drive Southeast between Route Z and St. Charles Road. Once that is done, they will start paving I-70 Drive Northwest between Stadium Boulevard and Abilene Acres.
According to a news release, the work will cause some lane closures.
The work is part of a larger project happening in several spots along outer roads in Boone and Callaway counties. MoDOT expects the project to be finished by November 1.
