Mizzou gymnast named SEC event specialist of the year
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou gymnast Helen Hu is the SEC event specialist of the year, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
The Chicago native is the first freshman to ever earn this recognition. She's also the first Tiger gymnast to earn event specialist of the year honors.
Hu was also named to the All-SEC and All-Freshman team. Hu's teammate Sienna Schreiber was named to the All-Freshman team as well.
